Aaron Desmonds - Varsity Head Coach
Aaron is entering his 8th year coaching High School Baseball, all at East Noble. His first 3 years was an assistant for both Varsity and JV levels, In 2017 he became the Head Varsity Coach for the Knights. The Knights were 16-11 in Aaron’s first year at the helm, finishing 2nd place in the NE8 conference with a 5-2 mark. That was the best conference finish since the early-mid 90's. Aaron is a 2004 East Noble Graduate where he was a 4 time letter winner in baseball. In 2004 he was selected to the first team all-state and all conference teams as a middle infielder. He was also named the KPC media baseball player of the year. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Robin and his other family and friends. He also enjoys playing and watching sports. He is an avid Purdue fan and alum. Nathan Jones - Assistant Varsity Coach / Pitching Coach
Nathan is entering his 9th year coaching High School Baseball, and 7th at East Noble. His first 2 years he was at Hamilton Community Schools as Varsity Assistant then Co-Head Coach in the 2nd year. Following that he came back to East Noble where he played. Nathan's first 2 years back he was JV Assistant with Larry Leighty, then became Aaron's Varsity Assistant when he became Head Coach. Nathan is a 2003 East Noble Graduate where he played Soccer, Wrestling, and Baseball (3 Varsity Letters). He was 2001 Most Improved and 2002 Defensive MVP on the Baseball team. In his free time he enjoys being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, surfing on the lake, spending time with his wife Meagan, daughters Charlie and Logan, and pets Maya, Jas, and Bela. Larry Leighty - JV Head Coach
Larry is entering his 14th year coaching at East Noble Baseball. He returned to the field where he was an 1978 graduate of East Noble. Before he started helping coach at the High School he was a Kendallville Youth Baseball Commission Member from 1989-2007. During his time on the Youth Baseball Commission Larry also served as the League's President between 1996-2007. The following 2 years he was an East Noble Baseball V/JV Assistant for Coach Irons. Starting in 2010 he became the Head JV Coach, which is the position he still currently holds. Larry has been married to Janice since 6/11/88. In his time away from the Baseball field he works at B&J Production in Albion, IN, and MOST of all he enjoys spending time with his 10 wonderful grandchildren. Tanner Fought - JV Assistant Coach
Tanner is entering his first year of coaching, but will bring plenty of experience with him. Tanner is a 2016 graduate of East Noble where he played football and baseball for the Knights. On the baseball field he all 4 years at first base. Tanner then went on to play for the Indiana Tech Warriors for a year before transferring to Purdue University to continue his academics. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, being on the lake, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves playing and watching sports as much as he can. Tanner is an avid Purdue, Colts, and Cincinnati Reds fan ** New Program Position **
Ryan Risedorph - Assistant Coach / Hitting Coach Ryan is entering his 1st year of helping East Noble Baseball but has coached the previous 8 years as a youth and travel ball coach. He is an 2008 East Noble graduate where he played baseball all 4 years (4 year Varsity Letter Winner), basketball freshman & sophomore year, and football my freshman and senior year. During his Senior year in 2008 Ryan earned the following awards: 4A All State HM, 1st team all conference, and KPC all area team. He still holds school records for: RBI's in a game (8), Home runs in game (3), Home runs in season (13), and grand slams in a season (2). While playing football he earned 2nd team all conference and KPC all area. Following his High School playing days he signed to play at Vincennes university. His freshmen year he batted .357. Unfortunately during his Sophomore year he had Tommy John surgery in fall and Labrum surgery in spring ending his playing career early. He then started working at SDI in 2011. Ryan is a proud Father of 2 kids: Cason and Reese. In his free time Ryan likes to take the kids to zoo/parks, spend time with family, and going to church ** New Program Position **
Marc Musselman - Assistant Coach / Infield Marc is entering his 6th year of coaching baseball. He started coaching with the Fort Wayne Diamondbacks for 2 years and since has been involved in coaching and offering personalized instruction to multiple high school and youth travel organizations, as well as volunteering with East Noble as his time allowed. He is a 2015 graduate of East Noble where he earned 4 Varsity Letters in Baseball and was named to the all area team. He also was a student athletic trainer and played 1 year of basketball. He spent his high school summers traveling the Country and Midwest playing baseball and attending instructional clinics as far away as Texas. Marc went on to play baseball at Trine University, but his career was cut short his sophomore year due to nerve damage in his shoulder that caused a series of arm surgeries spanning the next couple of years. With not being able to throw anymore, Marc joined the Men's Hockey team at Trine and played for 2 years between surgeries. Marc graduated in 2019 from Trine where he received a bachelor's degree. Marc lives in Kendallville and works for Nucor Building Systems. In his free time away from sports, he enjoys Hunting, Fishing, and being outdoors. He also enjoys watching the Cubs, and spending time with friends and family. Jason Meade - Honorary Coach
Although Jason has retired from our full time EN Baseball Staff, he will always have a spot for a pop in practice lesson with the kids. Jason is an East Noble graduate of the 1998 class. He has been coaching baseball for 17 years between KYB, travel baseball, Central Noble, and now East Noble. In 2009 Jason started the Kendallville Titans baseball program. Then in 2014 he joined Central Noble's baseball program as the JV Assistant for 1 year and Varsity Assistant the following 2 years. He joined East Noble's baseball program as JV Assistant in 2017. Along with coaching, he started Hit the Field Sports in 2013 where they specialize in Youth Baseball and Softball Tournaments. He has been married to Whitney since 2010 and have 2 wonderful children Lexi and Parker. Jason enjoys all sports and loves to fish. His 3 favorite words are: GO CUBS GO! Meagan begins her 14th year at East Noble High School. Meagan began working at East Noble right after graduating from DePauw University in 2007, and has worked for SportONE/Parkview Sports Medicine since 2011. She is a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute North High School where she participated in swimming, track and field, and cross country. She continued her swimming career at DePauw where she was a Varsity swimmer all 4 years. In her free time Meagan enjoys boating, running, watching football, and spending time with her husband Nate, daughters Charlie and Logan, two dogs, Jasper and Maya, and cat, Bela. Luke Amstutz - Strength and Conditioning Coach
Luke Amstutz serves all of East Noble Athletics as the schools Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He will also begin his 9th year as the Head Football Coach of the Knights. In his 9 years at East Noble, he has a 56-20 record and NE8 Championships in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Before that, he spent 4 years as the Head Coach at Angola High School. In his four years, he led the Hornets to a 26-15 record, and an NECC Championship in 2009. His career record as a Head Coach is 82-35 in 11 years. Coach Amstutz served the East Noble Football program from 2004-2008 in various roles, beginning as a Middle School Coach, JV Coach, and eventually as Defensive Coordinator. He also coached varsity basketball and JV baseball for the Knights, while teaching at Avilla Middle School. He is a 2000 graduate of Carroll High School and a 2004 graduate of Tri-State University in Angola where he is a member of the 1000 Point Club as a basketball player. He and his wife Shay, daughters Averi Lynn and Alexxa Riley, and son Maddox Charles reside in LaOtto. Coach Amstutz is an avid Notre Dame fan.
